Team Falcon still at it!

We are heading toward the time station in Spray OR - ETA between 7 and 8.  There are son many hills out here we have lost count!

Brodie B is writing, Michele is driving and trying whatever she can to stay awake - and not run over Brodie B while he's riding.

We will update soon!

Team F in the dark!

We passed through Heppner at 9:05 - there are angry wild dingos barking while I type this!

Brodie B is on the bike - it is cooling off and we have xm radio cranked through the external speakers - we will update when we get a good signal!

Team 'F' Update

Man is it HOT out here!!  Team F is about 8 miles from Condon (no I didn't spell it wrong).  Brodie B is on his fancy-pants Cervelo P3 going super fast and Brodie R is in the van drinking soda - the road surface is melting in places from the heat and there's mucho climbing.

We will update the next time we get a good signal!

Team F

Team "F" ready

Team F (aka the Brodies) ate yummy pasta in Hood River and thoroughly enjoyed the pre-race meeting - I believe we may be following at least some of the rules.

Two injuries so far - Brody B got a paper cut opening a box of snacks and Brody R impaled himself on a zip tie holding some of the improvised wiring in the crew vehicle.

Race begins at 9am PST Saturday - we will update whenever we have good coverage.

Team Falcon in OR

The 'two Brodies' arrived around midnight on Thursday and checked in while the hotel front desk dude left to go pick up his pizza.

Van set up, bike inspection, and food run is the schedule for Friday;

At breakfast Brodie B was staking claim to all the flat sections of the course...
